Piano-driven melodic chamber pop from Bristol.
Eva May shares new single ‘In My Heart’, a beautiful blue slow burner that instantly directs your thoughts to someone close to your heart.
The track comes with the announcement of a Rough Trade exclusive signed 7-inch available to pre-order via Rough Trade alongside a standard 7-inch available via Full Time Hobby. The 7-inch features A side and debut single ‘Where Does The Time Go’ which picked up support from BBC 6 Music’s Huw Stephens as well as international airplay from Byte FM in Germany and Triple R in Australia.
“In My Heart is an appreciation and admiration of someone dear to you. I wrote it in the week leading up to a gig and whilst writing it I pictured myself playing it live. I wanted to retain this feeling in the recording, something present and direct, like it could be played in the same room as the listener."
To celebrate, Eva has announced a release show at Bristols Exchange for September 19th. Support will come from Pictureframes, part of the local Bristol music scene.
