A gig held at Exchange on Thursday 29th May. The event starts at 18:30.

Sorcha is a Bristol-based singer-songwriter who blends experimental acoustic folk with honest, introspective songwriting. Their music explores themes of memory, nature and relationships, using a mix of acoustic guitar, subtle field recordings, and interesting instrumental textures. With influences from artists such as Billie Marten, Adrianne Lenker, and Haley Heynderickx, Sorcha creates music that’s both intimate and boundary-pushing.
Their debut EP, Swimming Backwards, is set for release soon and offers a fresh take on folk music with an experimental edge. Each track capturing a different emotional landscape, presenting a new perspective on familiar sounds.

Hibiscus are an up and coming neo-soul duo, based in Bristol. After meeting at college in Exeter, Eva and Lily have built a strong musical collaboration, strengthened by their palpable synergy and close friendship. Likened to artists such as Eloise, Cleo Sol and Nai Palm, their wholesome and tender songwriting draws from their experiences as young women navigating adulthood.
