Fresh off his debut album under his own name, a North American headline tour, and a year-long occupation atop NYC’s rock n’ roll scene, Sid Simons looks to keep the party going in 2025 across the continent of Europe. Simons released his sparkling debut album Beneath The Brightest Smiles in 2024, which slickly fused the likes of folkier sensibilities reminiscent of Big Thief and Elliott Smith with a tendency to locate the nearest overdrive pedal and arrive at guitar anthems not unlike The Strokes or Oasis. Backed by an eclectic band, Sid overtook some of NYC’s most storied venues such as Bowery Ballroom and Irving for exceptionally reviewed and memorable live shows all year. Sid will have a new EP out - The Last American Valentine - in early 2025.
Dust Cup Release are a Bristol-based 4 piece creating distinctive and engaging alternative rock music.
