The Remnantz and Carniepunks

CARNIE PUNKS: Swamp psych, neo-hoodoo and sleaze noir channelling the spirit of The Nightripper…
https://www.facebook.com/carniepunks

The Remnantz ( Former Post Punk Bristol band the Psychons) emerge from lockdowns with new
vocal and guitar ranges to compliment their previously energized live set of original tunes. All band
members are dedicated to a host of influences, inclusive of primarily The Clash and their political
persuasions, but also tune masters such as The Stranglers and Ian Dury and the Blockheads. With a
definite nod to the post-punk genre and an adversity to covers, Remnantz commit themselves to
new forms of expression and experimentation. They flirt with different sounds that touch on the
genres of Rock and Indie, but with melodies that explore with passion the subjects of Social injustice,
Social Revolution, Male Ego, Spirituality, Sexuality and Drug Addiction. Nothing is out of range to be
talked about within their song repertoire, their accumulating years allow them to reflect on a host of
existential experiences that are both profound and raw.

Please note that the basement stage is not accessible to all.
