kanekoayano is not an artist you can understand by skipping through the first 20 seconds of her songs or by checking the choruses, cos she doesn’t write those.

She’s something different. This month alone, her and the band have played an epic - sold out - Tokyo Budokan show (11,000 attendees), a spectacular noise-version of the show - often at MBV levels - in a Nagoya livehouse and a solo acoustic in a 1500 cap hall - no amps, no PA, just her voice and acoustic guitar.
