Blending the intensity of modern metalcore with the chaotic energy of hardcore, rising Bristol stars 'held under.' bring their headline show to Exchange, fresh off the back of tours with Donuts Hole, Bearpit, Apathy and Monochrome. Held under bring uncompromising heaviness to Exchange.

Smiling Politely | www.instagram.com/smilingpolitelyuk

Cheltenham-based Smiling Politely cap off a busy debut year after a string of single releases and live shows, bringing a mixture of metalcore and post-hardcore, with a sprinkling of midwest emo.

Atlas Theory | www.instagram.com/atlastheoryuk

They are joined by Atlas Theory, an emotionally charged outfit from Wales who weave together post-hardcore, metalcore and emo. After featuring on BBC Radio One Introducing, as well as the lineups of a number of festivals throughout 2025, Atlas Theory are not one to miss.

falselove | www.instagram.com/falselovemusic

Opening the night is South Wales sad boys, falselove, a rising quartet playing music inspired by late-00s emo and melodic hardcore. Falselove join this stacked lineup after a year of festival appearances and will arrive in Bristol just days after playing the excellent Noizzefest.
