Alpaca Presents | TOAST + Support at Exchange
See event details

A gig held at Exchange on Tuesday 23rd April. The event starts at 20:00.

TOAST are a 4-piece alternative rock band, hailing from Cheltenham, featuring SCARYLIV (vocals), Jamie Fox (bass), George Goodwin (guitar), and Tommy Lee (on the drums). Tearing up any and all stages they’ve been allowed near for the last three years, TOAST have made themselves known far and wide with their loud recognisable riffs and hard hitting lyrics. Their recent releases “Microplastics”, which amassed 3,000 streams in just under two weeks, and “Eat”, which established a more serious, grunge sound, have redefined TOAST’s onstage persona. Their love for the music they play, and the audiences they play it to, speaks volumes louder than any rock you’ve heard prior. TOAST will leave the stage smoking.

DISASTER CLINIC

Formed in the dark shadows of sticky floored underground venues, DISASTER CLINIC are an alt-rock five-piece making their mark on the Bristol music scene with their brooding combination of thrashing riffs, rousing vocals and heavy metal sensibilities.

Taking inspiration from artists such as Deftones and All About Eve, as well as the orchestrations of Danny Elfman, their music explores eerie gothic landscapes, fury-fuelled anthems and finds power in rawness. DISASTER CLINIC aim to get under your skin, and give you permission to scream along with them – lending the loudest voice to anyone who has ever felt unheard.
They have performed at venues across Bristol including The Crown and Rough Trade, and have supported iconic alt-rock bands such as The Menstrual Cramps, Pink Suits, Witch Hook and Call Of The Void.
“full of middle finger-raising, crowd-screaming participation, and angst”
