A
gig
held at Exchange
on Tuesday 3rd March. The event starts at 20:00.
New Orleans born Timothy Elpadaro Thedford is better known by his stage name JAY ELECTRONICA. He shot to fame with a myspace upload of'Eternal Sunshine' in 2007.
Since then he has gone on to have a child with Erykah Badu and sign to Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella records. His long awaited release'Act 2: Patents of nobility (The Turn) ' finally appears to be near completion along with a documentary about himself and his time with Roc-Nation. The illusive musician is one of the most sought after and mysterious characters in global music. He appears in Bristol in the smallest venue of his whole tour.
Tickets start at £18 and are available from 19/02. They are expected to sell extremely fast as there are only 300 available. If tickets seem a little expensive its because this artist may well not play such a small venue for the rest of his career.
Support will announced when tickets go on sale.
