OHTHEKINK!
Bristol based improv band spanning genres of Nu-metal, spoken word, Krautrock, shoegaze, free jazz and beach goth. They have coined the genre ‘lounge metal’, because the music is chilled, slow and moody with a definite metal homage on most tracks. They met on a dating app.
WOERMHOLE
Woermhole are an alt rock/metal unit, made up of vocalist Aura, guitarists Noah and Wolfy, bassist Seren, drummer Benny.
The heavy, no punches pulled sound of woermhole can be defined by loud droning guitars, a heavy rhythm section and hard, gritty, siren song vocals. Woermhole pride themselves on being an original band, with a new sound and a new style writing only the finest, and heaviest, alt rock.
They draw their inspirations from that familiar, grungy mid-90s sound created by artists such as: Deftones, Superheaven and Basement. Woermhole also take from a more modern metal sound, and a sense of style that oozes grit.
THE SCUTTLERS
The scuttlers are a 4 piece alternative rock band deeply inspired by the recent windmill Brixton scene. Their main influences would be Jeff buckley, black midi, queens of the Stone Age and Van Morrison - however the sound they cultivate pushes between most genres going. They focus heavily on the live performance: keeping elements of their set improvised and letting their eccentric front man run free. The goal of the Scuttlers is to take more obscurely used techniques and sounds and blend them into more traditional song structures to make something altogether new.
