Sing Your Socks Off presents SUMMER BLOOMERS - a day-long celebration of all things sunshine through the medium of learning and singing songs together. Come and mark this joyful time of the year with songs of bees, birds, and lazy hazy days.
Tea, coffee, and biscuits/cake will be provided. Lunch is a bring and share - we'll send details nearer the time.
WHAT'S THIS ABOUT SOCKS?
Sing Your Socks Off run joyful, energising harmony singing workshops learning acapella harmony arrangements of known and unknown songs.
Led by Ali Orbaum and Suus Gooch from Bristol’s renowned Gasworks choir, expect fast-paced, accessible tuition which maximises singing time. Come and share the delight of raising the roof among friends and good company! We teach by ear without sheet music, so no experience is necessary.
I'M KEEN BUT I'VE NEVER SUNG BEFORE! HELP!
Don't worry - we've taught hundreds of singers of all different abilities and confidence levels and we will make sure you feel welcome and at ease from the get go. We are Natural Voice Network members, which means the focus is on the JOY of many voices singing together. All voices are equally welcome, whatever your experience.
CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE SONGS WE'LL SING?
We've carefully selected a programme of juicy three and four part harmony songs that we'll teach you over the course of the day. The songs will be long, short, known, unknown... songs we feel capture that sweet summer feeling, provide enough challenge to be musically satisfying, and are easily learnable in a day.
WHAT IS THE STRUCTURE OF THE DAY?
We'll welcome you, sing a bit, have some tea/coffee, sing a bit more, have a lovely shared lunch, sing a bit more with more tea and cake in the middle, before finishing off the workshop and sending you home with a spring in your step!

Fear not. We're running a sister workshop on October 17th with the theme DEAD LEGENDS. Book both at the same time for a discounted ticket.
HOW EASY IS IT TO GET TO THE VENUE?
We've chosen a venue with great bus and rail links, near central Bristol, with plenty of parking...take your pick!
AM I A CONCESSION?
If buying a concession is the difference between you being able to come or not, then the answer is yes. If you're comfortably able to pay the higher price, then please do. We'll let you decide.
