-----

Canadian songwriter Andy Shauf makes his much-anticipated follow-up to 2016’s breakthrough record The Party.

Growing up in small-town Saskatchewan, Shauf creates tightly-woven narratives through established characters and poignant observations. Gaining fans like Carly Rae Jepsen, Thundercat, Flying Lotus, k.d. lang and Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy who has said he “doesn’t have antecedents or contemporaries,” Shauf has garnered a reputation for earnest songwriting that uses melancholic humour and clever wordplay to produce a truly unique perspective on the world.

Possessing “a keen, emotive ear for complex arrangements and lavish orchestrations,” (NPR), few artists are storytellers as deft and disarmingly observational as Andy Shauf.

Ages 14+ (Under 18’s to be accompanied by an adult).

This is a standing Colston Hall presents show at Fiddlers, Willway St, Bristol BS3 4BG.
