Women of the World: WOW Circle Feast at Filwood Community Centre
Optional £2 Donation

A event on Saturday 24th February. The event starts at 11:30.

This is our big closing feast of celebration for this amazing space we have been lucky to host. Please join us in Celebration! We will have some amazing food, a flag making workshop, an open mic session with a wonderful encouraging host, and a good closing cheer for the end of this cycle.

Booking a ticket: try to book a ticket only if you know you can make it. Consider donating £2 for the food (you can do this when you book your ticket).

DO YOU WANT TO SHARE SOMETHING AT THE OPEN MIC? Everyone can do it! Sign up to a slot now, just email Jan-Ming at [email protected] or you can also sign up on the day if there are slots still free! We'd love you to share something.

Inviting all women, trans women and non-binary femme identifying folk to come along to this WOW circle to share what's important for you and meet others, co-create and and share. Bring your friends! And of course any clothes, books or accessories that you'd like to swap too.

For reflections on the day:
“How can we be truly inclusive?
What does it mean to be a woman?
What is the value of having a space that gathers people who identify as women - not only those who were assigned females at birth, but also those who are trans women and non-binary femme identifying?
What is the value of having a space that offers affinity for AFAB people who were assigned female at birth?
