Anti- Fascist Valentines Feast at Fishponds old library
Event Cancelled
Sliding Scale (All profits to SLEEC's Mutual Aid Resilience Fund)

A event on Saturday 7th February. The event starts at 19:15.

In this mess of violence, hate, alienation and isolation, what we need more than ever is to build friendships, deep connections and meaningful community.

This Valentines, let's look at how we can love each other as collectives and become stronger and tougher through building, nourishing and tending to friendships. If we are going to survive these chaotic times, we’re going to need to put work into making many friends.

This is an act of rebellion and resistance against a system that wants to isolate and divide us.

Join us for our first Anti-Facist Valentines feast!

This gathering exists to counteract hate, to build friendships, connections with new people, widen our communities and leave with more crews and comrades to fight the system with (and to share joy with).

It's about de-centering romantic relationships and reprioritising platonic love as the collective power we need to move forward.

Our Anti-Fascist Valentines feast is curated so you speed meet one to one and as well as in groups, where we’ll explore different questions, curiosities and reflections around connection, and community. This will be followed by a shared feast where you are invited to break bread together, chat, move around the table and connect as you wish. You will be given the opportunity to explore your relationship in a different way with food iteself.

Come alone or with friends, and leave with a crew.

The feast will be provided by BB’s Kitchen and will serve up wild treats and winter plates to refuel, replenish and renew. All plant-based.

Curated by Bryony Ball (SLEEC / BBs Kitchen), Meggan Baker (SLEEC) and Jess Mercedes (RGC)

All profit goes to SLEEC’s Mutual Aid Resilience Fund
