The Art of Speaking from the Heart Poetry Workshop at Fresh Dance and Arts Centre
Fee £20 / £15 Concessions

A event on Sunday 27th November. The event starts at 12:00.

The Art of Speaking from the Heart workshop series uses poetry to help participants access the voice of their heart and learn to speak their truth through poetry and creative writing.

We often silence the inner voice but what happens when we start to listen to the voice of the heart and how can this inspire our poetry and creative writing? These workshops are about taking a journey into yourself to access your inner voice and share your innate wisdom and insights through poetry.

In each workshop Sukina Noor will take you through a series writing exercises, discussions and mindfulness practices and in each session there will a space to share your poems amongst other creative souls. The workshops are open to all, no prior writing experience necessary, just come with an open heart.

This is a workshop series that Sukina has taught in many countries around the world but its her first time launching it in her home town, Bristol. These workshops will run monthly.
