It's time to get small and cosy, with this intimate micro fusion weekend from Kaleidoscope.

Expect everything you love about the Bristol scene - switchy dances, welcoming faces and dreamy dances - in one tiny package.

WHAT'S MICRO?

Micro is very small dancing. It's all about sharing tiny movements in your body and connecting deeply with a partner. Ever seen a couple of fusion dancers hug for a whole song and wander off with a dazed and dreamy look on their faces? That's micro!
Whether you've been dancing for a long time or it's your first time, you can join in the micro magic.

KEEPING IT LOCAL

We love having so many international dancers at our events, but this time round we also want to celebrate our local scene. How are we doing that? By opening registrations to Bristol folks before anyone else, showcasing local teachers, and using UK-based DJs for this event.

In fusion we...
...don't assume what role you take in the dance; whether you lead, follow or switch is up to you and your partner
...welcome everyone, embracing queerness and all types of bodies
...feel free to ask anyone to dance, and are okay hearing and saying no sometimes
...check-in with our partner about what kind of dance they would like, including whether they feel happy with close embrace or being dipped

ACCESS

Our venue is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp between the areas once you're inside and dedicated accessible bathroom. The wheelchair access is through a small side door with ramp. If you have any questions, please get in touch at [email protected] and we'll do our best to help.

REFRESHMENTS

It's BYO refreshments time, as there is no bar on site. There is a small kitchen area with water on tap, so make sure you have your bottle with you!

SINGLE NIGHT PASSES!

These tickets are for the Friday night party as part of a longer weekend event. Come along to dip your toe into micro, and meet dancers from all over the country.
