“Drawing from circus, stand-up comedy and live art, Contra is a solo-cabaret of contradictions. Fierce, witty and uncompromising, it’s a highly physical show that interrogates personal, social and historical occupations of the female body. It explores, quite literally, where such bodies are positioned and how we are meant to look at them.”

“Join us in Bristol for a photography walk around this diverse historic city. You’ll be guided by one of our heritage experts who will be pointing out the city’s most interesting subject matter, alongside our in-house photographer, who will offer hints and tips about making the most of your camera and the landscape around you. We'll be taking a trip through time across the city. Starting in castle park, which was the old city centre until it was bombed in WW2, we'll be walking across the surviving part of the old city, then down across King Street and Queen Square (the scene of the 1831 Bristol Riots); and finally along the Harbourside to the M Shed Museum for industrial inspiration.”
