“Enablers Established in San Francisco, CA in 2002, Enablers' subsequent five LPs and four EPs have signaled a transcendent approach to “Spoken Word” music. The 2019 LP, Zones (Broken Clover, Lancashire&Somerset, and Exile on Mainstream) is a further example of Enablers’ push for musical expansion and growth. Zones represents a band that is increasingly more comfortable with experimentation and improvisation, while continuing to embrace all the musical elements that have established their sound for close to twenty years.”

“Kicking off the programme on Friday 22nd May, will be a very special evening in the company of SAM CARTER, who will be accompanied in the beautiful surroundings of CHRIST CHURCH DOWNEND by a the Home Waters String Quartet. Sam is on tour armed with a first new album in four years, and the string quartet show is one of only two in the whole of the UK… we really are very lucky to have this one! The evening's entertainment will get underway with a set from the highly-rated young folk singer LIZZY HARDINGHAM. Please note that this is actually the fourth Friday of the month… we’ve moved it back by a week to make space for Bristol Folk Festival. . Doors 7.30pm, Music 8.00pm.”

“Sugarmoon are an eccentric five-piece band with a penchant for beer-hall ragtime, soaring saxophone and five-way harmonies. Having started life as The Good Boys in early 2019, Sugarmoon emerged as a musical force - already boasting an eclectic collection of original songs rooted in vintage folk-pop, but politely refusing to settle in a particular genre.”
