“Bristol's one and only Roller Derby team, the Harbour Harlots, and local event organisers Jiggery Pokery are coming together for the first time to bring you a spectacular evening of gigantic proportions, all to raise money for the Japanese Quake and Tsunami appeal! Set to be the BIGGEST and BEST event we've ever organised, awesome venue The Lanes will be hosting our fundraiser, in which ALL money raised will go to our chosen http://www.cha...rity..shelterbox.org/about.php, who will provide shelter, water filtration equipment and tools to survive the aftermath of an Earthquake for those that have suffered and need it most in Japan.”

“Folk Rock Gypsy music infused with an accordion player and a fiddle who are quite clearly bonkers.. they play Spanishy, Gypsy-ish, explosive, and at times seductive folk... and more! Sanjuro's music ignites us to move (or sway, swirl, tap or just breathe in time) purely in celebration of life itself.”

“Pickpockets Love Tourists are a four-piece band from Bristol that have been attracting attention with their own brand of prog-indie-rock. Their music is laden with catchy guitar riffs, meaty bass-lines, intricate rhythms and plenty of synth/electro effects, venturing from frantic drums and distorted guitars into more wistful keyboard and vocal driven tracks. They have been likened to Radiohead, Muse, Keane and others, whilst still retaining their own unique quality. They will be launching their new album at this gig.”

“On entrance to MUTE you will be given a pair of wireless headphones, which have a volume control on one side and a switch to choose between the DJ on channel 1 and the DJ on channel 2. This enables you to choose what channel you want to listen to, or of course you could always take your headset off, stand back and marvel at a club full of people dancing and singing along to DJs that only they can hear.”
