“yes yes yes! Alabaster DePlume is heading back to bristol for what promises to be a very special show indeed. Alabaster is a spoken word artist, a writer, a saxophonist, whose music was described as “cheerfully uneasy” listening by BBC Radio 3’s Max Reinhardt - a description we like a lot.”

“Rainbow Slicer’s undulating improvisations transcends it’s hardware heart through it’s nihilistic techno musings into something akin to Steve Reich and Richard Pinhas having a fight in a dive bar while Moroder hurls he-said she-said jabs from the corner. All in all, a good night out. Limited pro dubbed cassette and digital available April 5th.”

“Jumping off from the sonic springboard of Afrofuturism, grime and future soul, all fused together with the fearless spontaneity of jazz. Steam Down is an arts collective comprised of Ahnanse, Alex Rita, Brother Portrait, Sawa Manga, Theon Cross, Nadeem, Benjamin Appiah, Dominic Canning and Nache. What started as a London based open Jazz session has now grown into a band in their own right, with material dropping this year as well as UK festival appearances coming up this summer, we had to get them down to Bristol for you!!!!”
