“
prsc">PRSC presents the launch of a revolutionary new night. The UK's only sociopolitical comedy night, where Bristol's satirists deconstruct the power paradigm to comedic effect, and the acts ACTUALLY get paid.”

“Made in the city but brought to life in natural places, the dolls articulate both the tension between these locations, each with their own distinct culture and aesthetic, and how we can feel deeply connected to multiple locations. The concept of play and the real world leaking into each other is explored through a series of photographs which also function as guide to the self: a manifesto that reclaims Puritan names, such as Hope, Faith, and Unity as a form of self-enquiry. It explores how we construct meaning in our lives and navigate between the material and the immaterial, the visible and the invisible.”

“From the cobbles of Roubaix, over Alpe d’Huez towards the grand finale in Paris, Tour de Ned will recreate the gut-wrenching, edge of the seat drama of the race on a stage near you. Boulting will relive memories of the best moments from the summer seen from the sometimes wonky perspective of the man who is paid to watch the telly and shout out names as riders climb, crash, stop for a poo and attack each other.”

“Jake Lambert fell into a career as a stand up – after gaining a following on Twitter under the pseudonym @LittleLostLad he decided to put down his iPhone and pick up a microphone. It has proven to be a great choice as his tight-knit combination of one-liners, short stories and strange thoughts have seen him nominated for a Leicester Comedy Festival Award, support Seann Walsh, Rob Beckett and Tom Allen on tour, and write for numerous TV and radio shows including Mock the Week and The News Quiz.”

“Spindle Ensemble are an experimental instrumental quartet from Bristol’s music collective BLOOM. They perform original compositions by Daniel Inzani that hover cinematically somewhere between classical, jazz and folk idioms, taking inspiration from artists such as Moondog, Maurice Ravel, Charle Mingus and Mulatu Astatke. Their debut album, Bea, was released as a luxury gatefold vinyl edition via new label Adderwell Music in Nov 2017.”
