Transmission 002: The Temple Is Calling

Following a rafters full Temple warming, Transmission at Future Temple returns for its second broadcast, this time we’re starting from early afternoon then ending in the wee hours with our very own after party beneath the arches.

Join us from 13:00 with drinks from our fully serviced bar, Happy Hour and sun-worshiping sounds outside while open deck selectors ease us into the afternoon.

Our afternoon Open Decks are for DJs who want to step into the hallowed sound Temple and show us what they can do. Sets must be booked in advance and should complement the relaxed daytime atmosphere, think warm, interesting and leftfield rather than peak-time pounding.

As daylight melts away, from 23:00, the doors close and Transmission moves inside. Entry remains free but advance booking is essential. Future Temple’s custom-built sound system and guest selectors takes over for a night of delicious electro, acid, breaks & techno. Expect a cosier after hours wind down from around 2/3 through until 05:00, we'll be pulling out bean bags and cushions to ease into that.

We don't like imposing planned fun but for those of you who prefer, we think it will go something like this:

13:00–23:00: Daytime drinks outside, Happy Hour 17:00 - 18:00 and pre-booked open decks, dancing optional
23:00–02:00ish: Guest DJs, lots of dancing
02:00 (or 3:00) - 05:00: Cosy after hours, time to wind down

Tickets: To join us after 23:00 advance booking via Headfirst Bristol is essential. If you can no longer make it and have booked a ticket, please release it back to Headfirst, to allow others to join.

Line-up: We won't be announcing our line up in advance, we prefer living in the moment and showcasing DJ talent so that it's more of a surprise. Trust us on this, you won't be disappointed.

Future Temple Transmission is a series of exciting sound, light and community programmed events starting in July 26.

Accessibility: Future Temple is partially accessible. There is step-free access to the bar area and an accessible toilet, but the main dance floor is on a lower level and we do not currently have a wheelchair ramp in place. The music can still be enjoyed fully from the bar area, where seating is also available for anyone who would prefer to sit, take a break or enjoy an armchair rave.
