A clubnight on Saturday 5th September. The event starts at 21:00.
Transmission returns to Future Temple for its third broadcast.
This time we’re starting at 17:00 and carrying on all the way through until 05:00, that's twelve hours of shenanigans in our perfectly formed Future Temple.
Expect techno, breaks, electro and electronic esoteric oddities, moving from early evening selections into darker territory as the night unfolds. Our final two hours will once again shift gears into a cosier after hours session from 03:00–05:00 somewhere between a listening session and collective exhale.
As ever, Future Temple’s custom-built Cosmic sound system will be at the heart of it all.
The line-up? Secret.
We won’t be publishing DJ names in advance. Part of Transmission is turning up without knowing exactly what you’re going to hear and trusting the selectors we invite into the Temple. There will be familiar faces, new discoveries and people we think deserve to be heard in a room like this.
We’ll have our bar running all evening, outdoor seating for chilling and regrouping, and Happy Hour from 17:00–18:00.
We don’t like imposing planned fun, but we think it will go something like this:
17:00–18:00: Doors open + Happy Hour
17:00–03:00: Drinks, selections and dance floor goodness
03:00–05:00: After hours making use of our cushions and beanbags
ENTRY: FREE
There are no tickets to book for this one. Entry will simply be first come, first served and we have a small capacity.
If you definitely want to make it inside, arriving before 23:00 is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.
Location: Future Temple, Arch 9, Berkeley Court Business Park, Earl Russell Way, Bristol, BS5 0BX
Line-up: Remaining secret. Follow the sound.
Future Temple Transmission is our ongoing series of independently programmed gatherings exploring sound, light, community and underground electronic music beneath the arches.
Accessibility: Future Temple is partially accessible. There is step-free access to the bar area and an accessible toilet, but the main dance floor is on a lower level and we do not currently have a wheelchair ramp in place. The music can still be fully enjoyed from the bar area, where seating is also available for anyone who would prefer to sit, take a break or use an armchair rave. Please contact [email protected] before the event if you would like to discuss access requirements, and we will do everything we reasonably can to help.
