Comedy Progression Workshop with Amy Mason at The Gaffe Comedy Club
See event details

A event held at The Gaffe Comedy Club on Sunday 12th April. The event starts at 11:00.

A fun, low-pressure workshop for anyone interested in stand-up comedy or simply improving their confidence and public speaking skills. Led by local legend, Amy Mason. This workshop is open to everyone, and we especially recommend it for those starting out in comedy and looking to develop their 5-10 minute set.

We'll discuss stage presence, persona, and do some writing exercises as well as practice speaking in front of the group on a mic. We'll also touch on the local stand-up scene, online comedy, and writing for TV. As well as how to maintain discipline and progress in the scene.
