A event held at The Gaffe Comedy Club on Sunday 2nd August. The event starts at 11:00.
A stand-up class for total beginners - even the terrified.
A fun, low-pressure workshop for anyone interested in stand-up comedy or simply improving their confidence and public speaking skills, starting from getting the mic out of the stand.
Led by local legend, Amy Mason. This workshop is open to everyone, and we especially recommend it for those starting out in comedy and looking to develop their 5-10 minute set. We'll discuss stage presence, persona, and do some writing exercises as well as practice speaking in front of the group on a mic. We'll also touch on the local stand-up scene.
