Wisecrack on Tour is the live, unfiltered companion to the award-winning podcast Wisecrack—a stranger-than-fiction collaboration between Montreal Just for Laughs stand-up comedian Edd Hedges and four-time Emmy®-nominated producer Jodi Tovay. Edd and Jodi hit the stage to tell the absolutely true, genre-bending story of how a charity gig in Edd’s hometown turned into a full-blown murder investigation.
Through alternating stand-up, storytelling, live “exhibits,” and behind-the-scenes revelations, the show unpacks how an innocent comedy gig became the entry point into a larger mystery and the scariest night of Edd’s life. Part comedy special, part live true-crime documentary, part creative autopsy of the podcast, Wisecrack on Tour is a work-in-progress performance where the jokes land, the tension builds, and the truth is stranger than anything Edd could have ever written.
