A event held at The Gaffe Comedy Club on Tuesday 16th June. The event starts at 19:30.
Strap in, this is gonna be intense! At Project the Dolls, we're celebrating pride month with a special mini-season of screenings focussing on electronic music and its long association with the queer community. At the Gaffe comedy club, we'll be screening Gaspar Noe's hardcore, bad-trip musical (?) starring the stunning Sofia Boutella. Watching this film is akin to the feeling of being at the club at 4am and starting to sober up (in a good way). By that we mean its a lot, so please check trigger warnings before joining us. Climax is a feast for the senses, with a banging electronic soundtrack, trippy, inventive camerawork, crazy neon lighting, and one hell of a dance number. That's why we're so excited to screen it as part of our pride month mini-season. We're offering the option to buy single tickets, or a joint ticket for both this screening and Pet Shop Boys' synth-pop road movie, It Couldn't Happen Here (1987), at a discount. We're so excited for these screenings and can't wait to see you there!
