Mark Watson brings his show “20 Years Of Doing My Absolute Bloody Best” to The Gaffe for Live Comedy Day.

Twenty years after his first solo show, inexplicably much curlier of hair, and with many more hangovers behind him, one of the UK’s favourite comedians rashly attempts a "best of" compendium of what he can remember from two decades of stand up.

In that time, his shows have taken in sin, death, fatherhood, divorce, identity theft, alcoholism, a massive passport problem, life expectancy, Google and many more things – amongst an unusual amount of ad-libbing and waving his arms about.

In “20 Years Of Doing My Absolute Bloody Best” Mark has pieced together the best routines from his career so far, and revived some that might not work at all anymore. Either way, it's the last chance to see most of this material!

Live Comedy Day is an annual and national celebration of UK Live Comedy, with a specific focus on supporting grassroots venues. Like many in the UK creative industries, we are all fighting against cost increases and other factors which are affecting what we do. Unlike most of the rest of the creative industries, live comedy doesn’t get any formal support or recognition from governments. The good news is that by watching a live comedy show, you will have an amazing night out and directly support comedians and us, your local comedy club, so thank you!
