Join award-winning comedians Amy Webber and Maia Tassalini as they work out new material. They will each perform around 45-60 minutes of their Work in Progress shows, with an interval in between.

Amy Webber: Joy Ride (Work In Progress)

Are you ready to get taken for a ride? Come and spend an hour with one of Britain’s most lovable musical comedians and leave with a spring in your step (and potentially a new sock). Featuring music akin to a chart topping pop star and a voice akin to an angel. Described as “dizzyingly inventive” and "hilarious”, this multi-award winning comedian (with an opera degree that’s never been useful) is filled with gas and raring to take you on a journey. And rest assured, she will be making a song and a dance about it.

Winner of the Musical Comedy Awards (2021) and ‘Best stand up’ at Manchester Fringe (2023) Amy has provided tour support for the likes of Christopher Hall, Max Fosh, Grace Campbell and Emmanuel Sonobi. She has performed live on BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends, Front Row and featured on the Radio 1 Breakfast show and she is a full time musician.
