Join us back at the Gaffe Comedy Club for a screening of New Queer Cinema pioneer, Isaac Julien’s, landmark Young Soul Rebels. Two DJ friends investigate a murder in the queer community. The film, which discusses the intersectionality between race and sexuality, captures the meshing punk, soul and queer subcultures in 1977 London. We’re very excited to be screening this awesome melting pot of a film in participation with the BFI’s national Rip it Up season, celebrating rebellious British youth culture.
