It's the FA Cup of Comedy! The prestigious British Comedian of the Year competition is rolling into Bristol for one of the 26 heats taking place throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Open to comedians of all levels including TV names it offers the biggest cash prize in UK comedy, £10,001, to go with the glamorous title.

Hundreds of comedians apply to take part, only the best are chosen for the heats, and only one person will take home the cash.

On the night acts perform 10 minutes of their best material and you, the audience, vote to see who goes through to the semi-finals. The power is yours! Will the young upstarts beat the TV names, will the rising stars beat the seasoned pros? It's up to you...
