Born in Taiwan and raised in Britain, Monica grew up between two cultures and conflicting opinions about who she should become. She learned how to fit in. Now she’s tearing up the rulebook and writing her own.
How to Be a Strong Woman in One Hour is Monica’s self-aware attempt to make sense of the expectations, contradictions and strange rules we inherit without ever agreeing to them. Through sharp observations, storytelling, and the kind of logic that makes perfect sense until you think about it, she turns family, identity, confidence, and belonging into a fast, funny, and fearless hour about backing yourself.
This is not self-help. Monica is still figuring it out herself. But somewhere in the chaos, you might recognise a little of yourself too. Anyone can learn how to be a strong woman. The skill sets are transferable.
