Asian Arts Agency presents India's pioneer of Hindustani slide guitar Debashish Bhattacharya and Songlines Award nominated vocalist Anandi Bhattacharya.
Grammy nominated Debashish Bhattacharya has long been recognised as the slide guitar master of India. Pioneering a unique style of Hindustani slide guitar and fusing Indian classical ragas with bluesy Western influences, Debashish has mesmerised audiences and artists for over four decades with his extreme virtuosity and graceful artistry.
Vocalist Anandi Bhattacharya released her debut album Joys Abound in 2018 to widespread critical acclaim and has been nominated for a Songlines Award 2019.
The concert will also feature one of the world's best tabla players, Tanmoy Bose. Tanmoy has performed all around the world with the greatest Indian classical musicians, including the late sitar legend Pandit Ravi Shankar and renowned sarod player Ustad Amjad Ali Khan.
