A
clubnight
held at Green Works
on Saturday 9th August. The event starts at 22:00.
We're taking over Green Works again, Bristol's number one spot for sound system culture, for a warehouse edition Duvet.
With the one and only Grace Sands jumping on the decks.
Grace started out making world changing moves with free party pioneering DiY Soundsystem from the late 80s onwards and DJing as half of Digs & Woosh. They started out playing their shared love of hip hop, funk, post punk, disco & jazz, diverging into the world of ambient with the infamous Serve Chilled show on Nottingham pirate Rave FM and eventually helping to define the deep house sound synonymous with DiY.
Fast forward to now and Grace is some kind of unstoppable force of house music, regularly dropping by to drop one of her earth shaking and timeless sets at places like Spotlite Detroit, Smartbar Chicago, Houghton Festival, Panorama Bar. As well as being a mainstay at London's iconic queer party Adonis and Glasto's NYC Downlow, Grace throws her own parties, Sands Of Time, where she champions underground talent, forever keeping it real. Don't miss this, deep and heavy guaranteed.
