Returning to our Place in Bedminster to perform their Spanish and Flamenco compositions, FreeGuru will be playing 2 sets from 19:30 .

Working hard over the last couple of years together to write authentic sounding Flamenco , this trio sound out Flute, Guitar, a wide array of percussion instruments and ocassional vocals to create beautiful moods and drop you right into the warm feel of Paco De Lucia, Tomatito, and Vincente Amigo.

These are the influences closest to the heart of Kat Day, the guitarist in the group, who in earlier times toured with The Seers, Bristol Punk band who shared main stage billing with The Ramones, Iggy Pop, The Wonder Stuff and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Now with Flamenco Closest to his heart, he and Tom East on Flute, ( Who has recorded on two albums with Rootsource, praised by Giles Peterson) join Oli Mason, one of Bristol's most attentive sensitive playing percussionists. Oli works as a producer, a sound engineer and has composed for films and animations.
