Jess Green and the Mischief Thieves
Jess Green and The Mischief Thieves are a three piece, stompy music and poetry band from the Midlands.
Having played at Glastonbury and the Edinburgh Fringe, they've just finished a national tour of their five star show, Burning Books, a lyrical and humorous look at education under a Conservative government. Made up of poet Jess Green, Dave Morris on drums and Scott Cadenhead on guitar they create a raucous eclectic sound of folk, hip hop and Deep South American blues.
'Somehow Jess manages to be hard hitting in a way that's so subtle you don't realise until the bruise come up. She's amazing to watch!' Scroobius Pip
