Evening Ukulele with Ben Searle at Ham Farm Festival
£5

A event on Thursday 25th July. The event starts at 10:00.

Come, learn some chords on a ukulele and a few songs in just an evening!

Who is this Ukulele workshop aimed at?
Anybody who wants to come! (Suggested minimum age 8 - no maximum age).
No experience is necessary, and there is no need to read music. You don't even need to own a ukulele - while it will help if you can borrow one, Ben will bring some spares for people who don't have one.

What will happen?
Arrive at Ham Farm Cottage by 6.25pm (unless you are already there listening to the amazing brass band drop-in concert from 5.30-6.30pm).
Bring a picnic supper if you haven't already eaten. The bar will be open in the break to buy drinks and ice creams if you wish but there will be no savoury food for sale.
Bring an extra layer, because the workshop will be outside (under the marquee but no heating)

Ben will lead you through basic ukulele technique, and teach some very basic chords one at a time, singing fun songs and accompanying yourselves as you go!
There will be a break midway, with an opportunity to buy drinks and ice creams from the bar. The evening will finish at 9.30pm

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
