PROGRAMME:

Rejuvenate Creative Writing and Yoga 10:00 – 11.30am. Lead by Rebecca Tantony
https://www.rebecca-tantony.com/retreat

A mixed practice session combining Yoga and Meditation, in which the body is used as a pathway to our internal force, followed by creative writing aimed at bringing fear into the light and then moving through it.

Unite the body and mind so as to access greater expression and confidence. Here, we enter a space where possibility becomes limitless and through the emotional, physical and mental, we are able to rejuvenate the senses and enter the magic of creation.

Voice Bath 11.45am – 12.15pm. Lead by Dom Coyote
http://www.domcoyote.com

An alternative type of inactive meditation. Participants are encouraged to let go of negativity as you “bathe” in the soothing vibrations of vocal sound. Participants lay in near darkness allowing the voice to resonate through them. Comfortable clothing recommended.

Shared Space Poetry Reading 12.30pm – 1.30pm. With Deanna Rodger
https://www.deannarodger.co.uk/

Come and be present and connect through shared experience and contemplation of proximity. Participants will gather together to silently read alongside the author. Followed by question and answer and discussion session.

Inner-Life Drawing 1.45 pm – 2.45pm. Lead by Bohdan Piasecki
https://bohdanpiasecki.com/

Take a space at an easel and study our human subjects as they ponder the questions of existence. Through observation participants will be encouraged to draw out the internal monologues of our subjects to develop works of character based creative writing.
