Performance Creation Lab
Working on a performance piece? Structure it & revel in the act of creating!
A weekend workshop to finely craft your unique performance piece. With group exercises, 1 to 1 feedback & a showcase opportunity.
We’ll work together to dig into the themes underneath the sketch concept you bring & structure the performance.
Whether a solo spoken word piece, a duo clown piece, storytelling, or a physical theatre sketch.
We’ll identify the theme by looking at space, movement & text: Then use tools to ensure that your theme is powerfully communicated with your audience.
We will also look at the rigour of structuring an emotional arc – offering audiences a complete journey – no matter how big or small.
When:
June: 22nd – 24th
Fri 6-8pm | Sat 11-5pm | Sun 10-4pm
Friday evening will include intro exercises & sharing a snippet (approx 5 min) of where ever you are with your work.
Sat-Sun we’ll get to work on fine-tuning.
Cost:
£120 for full weekend
(Pay your £12 deposit here & receive email with info on full payment)
