Post Election: What Next? at Hamilton House

A event on Sunday 15th December. The event starts at 14:00.

The election has seen an incredible explosion of energy from those dedicated to building a better world.

Whatever the result of the election we need to continue to build in our communities, for our communities. To channel the greatness we see everyday that goes untapped. Change is amongst each of us and providing that opportunity is paramount ,so that we can win real permanent, socialist change.

This means building media organisations that can challenge the mainstream discourse. Building radical, combative trade unions that get wins for their members, materially improving their lives. Building cultural institutions that both educate people and build social networks that can be leveraged for power. Creating spaces where we can eat, drink and organise together.

At this meeting we will bring together many of the activists and organisations who have done such amazing work across Bristol this election and those who are still keen to get involved. We'll come together and work out what our next steps are.

There task ahead of us is huge but our movement has shown that it has the people power, the energy and the ability to do what needs to be done. We have time and time again confounded the expectations of those who aimed to put us down. The world is relying on us to keep fighting, keep building and win so that is what we need to do.
