Disarm Education Hosted by Bristol National Education Union at Hamilton House

A event on Wednesday 18th June. The event starts at 19:30.

Arms Companies including BAE systems, Rolls Royce, Thales, Babcock and Leonardo are based in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
They also spend millions every year to sponsor school events, fund competitions, do careers fairs, provide work experience, and fund apprenticeships for students.
Arms companies have been operating in places of education in Bristol for far too long, obscuring the violence of their production with the veneer of science and technology.
Now more than ever, is a crucial moment to sever all ties with arms companies, to denormalise the production of war in all facets of society and to disavow our complicity in violence and genocide.
Come together with Bristol NEU and Disarm Education to build a campaign to kick arms companies out of our schools, colleges and universities.
