Are you one of the 600,000 people signed up to Your Party, the new Jeremy Corbyn/Zarah Sultana political party? Are you wondering what you can do to help get the organisation going and prepare for the founding conference later this year? If so, then come along to this event for Your Party supporters/members in the Bristol area to meet one another and together start making those plans.
This is a grassroots initiative by fellow Your Party supporters in Bristol with the aim of setting up a local network to discuss what sort of party and movement we want YP to be in the build up to the conference. Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve been organising and campaigning for decades or if filling in the form was the first political act you’ve ever done, we want you to be a part of it.
The meeting will be in the 3A Event Space at Hamilton House on the 27th of August, door open at 7pm for a 7:15 start. The event will be an opportunity for everyone to speak then time for smaller discussions and then agree a volunteer organising structure for Your Party Bristol.
We are asking for donations to cover the cost of the venue, pay what you can. Any donations past the venue hire will be donated to Bristol Apartheid-Free Zone (BAFZ).
