Mr Bricks and the Rubble at The Hare on the Hill

A gig held at The Hare on the Hill on Saturday 23rd November. The event starts at 20:00.

Italian three-piece Mr Bricks and the Rubble play a blend of rock n roll, blues and indie on the guitar, drums and double bass. Mr. Bricks & the Rubble is a trio of vintage rock'n'roll comprising three worshipers of the retro sound. Long-time professionals, united by the same vision of music, with their hands turned to the 50s and a watchful eye toward the new sounds of today. The band’s collective has a variety of live performance experience and draws on this to fine-tune their direct and engaging sound, building a solid foundation for their first original production. The group consists of the singer and guitarist Dario Mattoni, aka Mr. Bricks, who, for several years, has been the frontman of bands such as Rekkiabilly and Bomba Titinka, completing numerous albums and European-wide tours with each band respectively. Drummer Nicola De Liso’s wealth of experience includes providing the backing beat for some of Italy’s most significant live bands and musicians such as Quarta Parete, Folkabbestia. Finally, the formidable double-bass player, Dado Penta, whose career in music demonstrates a range of talent and includes a number of collaborations with prominent musicians, such as Marc Ribot. 8:30pm kick off, free entry!
