110 Yard Dove Street Jazz and Folk Festival at The Hare on the Hill

A gig held at The Hare on the Hill on Sunday 28th August. The event starts at 16:00.


A beautiful, musical, beery collaboration between The Hare on the Hill and The Hillgrove Porter Stores! Join us on bank holiday Sunday 28th August for a day of folk, jazz, swing and blues, and of course lots of beer.

Starting at 4pm, six acts will perform at alternate pubs throughout the day (only 110 yards between the two), kicking off at the Hillgrove's sunny garden before moving to the Hare on the Hill at 5pm, then alternating between the two for the rest of the evening.

At the Hillgrove:
The Henry Slim Trio (blues)
Henry Ayling (finger-picking folk)
Gin Bowlers (jazz swing)

At the Hare:
Old time and Americana folk jam (all welcome)
*A VERY SPECIAL GUEST*
Joplin Parnell (jazz piano and vocalist, with accompaniment)

With food from The Kitchen on the Hill & Kansai Kitchen and 33 ales and ciders available between the two pubs.

Free entry but please donate generously to the musicians.
