The Ivo Neame Quintet is one of the flagship bands of London's LOOP collective, it features some of the finest young jazz musicians based in the UK, playing accessible contemporary music that is far-reaching in its scope.
The group features Neame and H iby, two thirds of the fabulous award winning Phronesis trio, with the stellar vibes sounds of Jim Hart and now with the introduction of Freestone's edgy saxophone the group has grown into the real deal.
The quintet's highly personal music, allows each member the space to shine both individually and as part of the ensemble.
Over the last few years, the band has been building a strong reputation, performing all over Europe, receiving enthusiastic responses from audiences everywhere. 2012 saw the release of a new album'Yatra' on Edition Records.
A great start to the season's programme.
