OLD MCDONALD'S HAD A FARM - THE POLITICS OF FOOD at Hen & Chicken

A event on Thursday 16th May. The event starts at 19:30.

We’ll try and envisage a sustainable global supply chain from farm to fork that can enable ethical choices. We’ll discuss the changed nature of what we eat and how it is produced as opposed to what we need to be eating. We take a look at the projected cost to society of the diet and obesity crisis that’s coming down the tracks and share ideas to help change the way the world consumes.

With:

CATHERINE WITHERS, sustainable Yew Tree Farm campaigner
PROF. JOHNATHAN NAPIER, food and nutrition scientist
& JOY CAREY, author and director of the Bristol Food Network
The panel will be hosted by comedian LOUISE LEIGH.
