Hidden Gallery are going back to their roots with their latest exhibition. "Brilliance” brings together works by a selection of the Bristol based artists who exhibited at the gallery when it first opened its doors in 2016. Alongside the gallery’s collection of rare works on paper by artists such as Picasso, Matisse and Warhol, Hidden has enjoyed supporting some of the city’s most exciting artists. “Brilliance: Contemporary Colour” will be bright and bold, showcasing artworks by Chitra Merchant, Javi Tanke, Victoria Topping, Frederique Swist and Lucianne Lassalle.
Running from Thursday 17th October to Sunday 27th October, the exhibition will kick off with an opening reception on Thursday 17th October, from 6pm – 8pm. To secure a spot at the opening reception, please email [email protected].
“We are delighted to celebrate the fabulous work of the emerging artists who have been with Hidden for nearly a decade,” says Amy Hampshire, senior manager of Hidden Gallery. “The exhibition will showcase works in a variety of mediums from silkscreen and Giclee prints, to acrylic paintings and sculptures. There will be something for all tastes and budgets.”
Collectors and art enthusiasts alike are invited to Hidden’s exclusive new exhibition. Alongside the “Brilliance: Contemporary Colour” exhibition, Hidden will also have an extraordinary selection of original, rare works on paper by masters of the 20th and 21st century. The likes of Picasso and Matisse will sit beside Hockney and Emin. The artworks, all of which are available to buy, will be on display in the gallery located in the Clifton Arcade, BS8 4AA. Hidden Gallery, Bristol, is open Wednesday to Saturday from 10am – 5pm, and Sunday from 11am – 4pm.
