HEADLINER:
Stone Jets is a Pop Rock band from Cape Town, South Africa. The group was formed in 2013, following the fruitful-flourish partnership of Given Nkanyane and Manfred Klose.

The band has released EPs and singles, featuring on national television and top radio stations in South Africa. They have performed at all the major festivals in South Africa and they're already taking the UK by storm, becoming fast favourites at Sofar Sounds in London and Bristol!

While their sound is commonly referred to as Afro-Pop, their multi-layered sound and approach to songwriting makes them difficult to pigeonhole. It's partly because this multicultural band draws on a host of influences: African sounds, classical music, blues, folk, and classic rock.

You can find their full discography on Spotify; a Stone Jets gig is definitely not one to miss!

AFTER-SHOW SOCIAL:
We enjoy a good chinwag and we'll be holding a love-in after the event, where everyone can get to know each other over raised glasses to fresh memories, hopeful futures, new faces and familiar laughs.

ABOUT THE VENUE:
Horts is a welcoming bar with a cinema, The Director's Cut, at the back. We run our events in this incredibly comfy cinema space.

There is no step between the pavement and the event space itself, but there is a step up to the stage.
event seating is in large, comfy chairs and households will be invited to sit together with spacing between where desired.
