HOT WAX is Bristol’s newest record store in St Andrews / Bishopston on Sommerville Road (just yards off Glos Rd). We launched with our first ever in-store party and DJ sets early in October and now we can announce our second ever in-store and a very special weekend where we invite the mighty 'Diggers Club Records' pop-up on Friday 5th December and Saturday 6th December!
Diggers Club are the behemoth record store based in Cardiff Bay who also smash it at the We Out Here Near Mint store each year, are coming up to help pack out our store, From Brazilian, to Jungle, Rave, Dub, Punk, DnB, Global world-Funk sounds and more, expect a wide range of twelves and 45’s.
On the Friday night a free entry dance runs 6pm-10pm with DJ sets from Tainá, Jackson Worm, Fidra Funk, Luke Diggers Club and Nathan Worm. Make this your ‘pre drinks’ spot if you’re heading to a clubnight and live up Glos Road! It will be 100% vinyl sets all powered through an incredible pair of top condition 1969 KLM Model Five’s and a good bar selection and snacks / Pizza by the slice!
Entry to the evening is free, please grab a free ticket or feel free to make a donation to ‘Caring In Bristol’ supporting people on the streets over the Christmas period. Diggers Club will still be out for digging and buying on the Friday night!

All weekend we’re gonna have coffees, beers, pizza by the slice and THOUSANDS of quality second hand records in.
