How Lazy Is He? with Eleanor Morton at How Lazy Is He? Comedy Night at the Lazy Dog
See event details

A event on Thursday 26th April. The event starts at 20:00pm.

This week at your comedy local, it's Eleanor Morton and Joz Norris! Alt-comedy

Eleanor Morton is a Scottish stand-up, writer and actor. She is also a performer with the award nominated London comedy groups Weirdos and Comedian’s Cinema Club. Recently she’s become a board member of ACMS, after some more famous and successful comedians were purged. That’s how you get ahead, kids.

Eleanor’s notable gigs include supporting Josie Long in 2012 and Tony Law in 2014. Recently she supported Stewart Francis on his Pun Gent tour, and Frankie Boyle on his Hurt Like You’ve never Been Loved tour.

‘Smart, biting and Funny’ (The Wee Review, ★★★★)

“A thoroughly enjoyable hour of accomplished and skillful stand-up” The Skinny

‘Charmingly Whimsical’ The Guardian

Joz Norris is a cult figure at the Edinburgh Fringe, where he has written and performed 5 hour-long solo shows of character comedy, stand-up, storytelling and other nonsense. He has also written several solo performance art and theatre pieces which have been performed at arts festivals nationwide. He's recently been known to perform as Neil Young, whom he knows surprisingly little about, considering he's on stage pretending to be the guy. Somehow, that works?

One of the Guardian's Comedy Picks of the Fringe 2017

"An absolute idiot...Simple, silly and screamingly funny." - Fest

"Had the audience in the palm of his hand...Mesmerising." - One4Review

"Impossible to dislike." - Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

"Simply one of the most joyous comedians around." - The Comedy Verdict

All that, plus more local support acts, TBD, and your resident host and faithful scribe, Tony Chiotti, who is typing in the third-person as we speak.

Upstairs, followed by a cheeky little open mic.
