Capturing Movement is a developing space for conversation, reflection and shared practice around image, voice and connection.
Held at IC Visual Lab on the first Wednesday of each month, the sessions will create space to look, listen and think together. Mark Simmons will share work in process from his archive and current practice, opening it up for interpretation and conversation.
Others are also invited to bring along anything that feels relevant to them at that moment: images, ideas, questions, research, references, experiences or work in progress.
Through archives, creative response and shared enquiry, we are exploring how people, communities and moments are seen, remembered and understood.
